Southern Utah Regional Manager
Essie earned her masters degree at the University of Utah in Special Education. She taught in the Salt Lake City School District and Burbank Unified School District in California for seven years. Although Essie is no longer in the classroom, she is passionate about teaching and advocating for minorities. She works as Equality Utah's Programs Manager overseeing the Scholarship and College Ambassador Programs. Essie is also Equality Utah's first full time employee in Southern Utah and working to extend our reach to all corners of our beautiful state.
