Eli is a Utah native who lives in Salt Lake City with his husband, Skylar. He is a former litigator in the areas of employment discrimination, civil rights, and related appeals. Eli is currently working as senior corporate counsel for Oracle. Eli also teaches First Amendment at the S. J. Quinney College of Law. He received his juris doctorate from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2011. Eli is involved in several creative projects based in Utah, including producing a regular storytelling show in Salt Lake City. Many of Eli’s creative writing pieces and articles, including on LGBTQ issues, have been published through several outlets both in and outside of Utah. Eli joined the Equality Utah PAC board in 2020 and then resigned to join the Foundation Board in 2021.
