Citizen Lobbyist Training

The purpose of this training is to empower the LGBT community and its allies - to give them the tools and resources necessary to raise our lawmakers’ awareness of issues affecting the LGBT community of Utah.  We will show you how to contact and educate your elected officials.  These guidelines can be used to contact state and local elected and/or appointed officials.  Don’t limit yourself!

Lobbying is about educating your legislator about important issues that affect you and your community!

As a citizen lobbyist you are making an important contribution to our movement toward equality!

Every contact that you make is one more voice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender civil rights!

Bring your friends, and make it fun!
