Clark Cutler
Clark is a native of Salt Lake Valley - returning in 2004 after living in various western states. He is the father of 5 children and is a co-founder of The Authentic Leadership Alliance - TALA International - a leadership development company. For over 15 years Clark has consulted and coached executive leaders in realizing their personal and organizational potential through honoring their authentic selves. His commitment to helping people 'be who you are' is why he is involved with Equality Utah.

Brian Doughty
Brian is native to Texas where he attended Texas Tech University earning his Bachelors degree in Marketing. In 2004 he moved to Salt Lake City’s 9th and 9th neighborhood from Denver, CO. Brian works for Welch Equipment Co. as a territory manager selling material handling equipment. Brian serves as the Benion Neighborhood representative for the East Central Community Council in Salt Lake City. Brian’s life long interest in politics and the desire to fight for policy that is fair and just for all Utah’s families led him to the Board of Equality Utah. |

Tyler Dahlsrud
Tyler has lived in Salt Lake City for the last 20 years. He and his partner Mark have been together for over 13 years and currently reside in the Country Club area of Salt Lake City with their Golden Retriever Sage. Tyler & Mark own Rainbow Mountain Realty and cater to both gay and straight home buyers and sellers. Tyler is involved in many social groups in Salt Lake and always tries to educate people about the importance of equality and benefits gay people bring to our community.

Kristen James
Kristen is a proud mother of two beautiful, spectacular, brilliant boys! A former resident of St. George and Park City, Kristen now lives in Salt Lake City and is an Industrial Real Estate Broker with CommerceCRG. Kristen’s commitment to Equality Utah is based on her love for her sons – all families deserve equal protection under the law.

Jennifer Johnson
Jennifer Johnson is your typical transplant to Utah who fell in love with the mountains and desert and never left. She resides with her partner Alice Olch in Park City where they can be close to the outdoors. Jennifer is employed with the U.S. District Court where she works as a federal probation officer to ensure justice to those in the federal judicial system. Her work experience has inspired Jennifer to be a part of Equality Utah; to try and assure that all individuals have equal rights.

Kris Liacopoulos-Vice Chair
Kris Liacopoulos is pretty much a Salt Lake City native (birth and a first year in Texas complete the story). She lives in the East Millcreek area of Salt Lake and works for a national financial services company. Kris's passionate belief that equal rights for all citizens are critical to a thriving democracy and bright future are what motivate her to be part of Equality Utah. Equal is Right! (She also believes you should be saving as much as you can for your retirement!)

Jan Lovett
Jan Lovett has lived in Utah for 28 years and considers herself a native Utahn, she lives in the Midvale area with her husband Tom, and together they have 4 Children and 7 Grandchildren. Jan is employed by the University of Utah with Office of Information Technology. Jan’s involvement with Equality Utah is inspired by her friendships, her passion and commitment to social justice. She believes that through constructive dialogue with all people, we can make a difference!

Russ Pack-Treasurer
Russ and his partner, Steve, have lived in the Highland Park neighborhood of Salt Lake City since 1986. Russ retired as the Chief Administrative Officer and Acting Executive Director of the Salt Lake City International Airport in 2007. His primary interest with Equality Utah is in ensuring fair domestic partnership rights, particularly those of survivorship, for LGBT partners and their children.

Stephanie Pappas – Chair
Stephanie Pappas has served on the Equality Utah board for the past 4 years. A life-long Utah resident, Stephanie graduated from the University of Utah and Westminster College. Growing up, her family instilled ideals of community involvement, education, and social justice --- ideals that she continues to inspire today. Living with Kristen, her partner of six years, Stephanie is currently CFO/Owner of thriving businesses here in Salt Lake City.

John Poole
John’s roots are in North Carolina but he has lived most of his adult life in and out of California and is now Utah. His jobs as an engineering consultant called for travel and lots of it. In the last 5 years John started a nationwide computer support business (linking clients with qualified local technicians) and purchased a second home in Park City. John’s second home became his first when he opened an office for his business in Salt Lake City. He learned about Equality Utah after finding out about all the things they’ve done to support equality through local political action. John welcomes the opportunity to support Equality Utah and all it does for equality issues at our state and local levels.

Christopher T. Scuderi
Christopher is a child of the military and moved to Utah when he was 8. He and his wife Teinamarrie currently reside in Midvale with their beloved furry, four-footed child. Christopher is the Church Administrator for South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society, where he coordinates the daily business of the church. Christopher has a strong interest in social justice which led him to Equality Utah and he is proud to support EU’s vision of “a fair & just Utah .”

Allison Smoot – Secretary
Allison was born and raised in Utah and currently lives in Park City with her two teenage daughters and her partner, Jamie Johnston. She has a 21-year career as an investment and wealth management consultant. Her professional mission is to "help people live more meaningful lives," and she does this by building long-term partnerships with her clients. This professional mission is also reflected in her commitment to her family and her service to the community. No matter what task she faces, she brings a strong work ethic and sense of enthusiasm to everything she does. |

Marcia L. White-Past Chair
Marcia White has a true entrepreneurial spirit and is currently the President/CEO of a successful full service practice management company and collection agency. She and her partner reside in Layton and she is active in many community organizations but her true roots are still grounded in Nebraska where she grew up in a very politically active family. Her uncle was both the Governor and United States Senator for many years and she can remember campaigning at an early age and having many heated political discussions around the dinner table. She has a strong conviction that each of us can make a difference in whatever may be our passion.
